Summer Program
Our Summer Program
July and August




We offer a fun filled summer program which includes:

Picnics, Outdoor Water Play (sprinklers, water tables, etc.) Gardening, Sports, Nature Walks, Arts and Crafts,
Drama, Free Play and Reading.  

We also offer many activities to help prepare your child for the kindergarten experience.  Some of these activities
include:  Identifying letters and their sounds - Identifying numbers and their values – Writing letters and numbers
– Writing your name – Working with pattern blocks and reading.

● You may choose your own weekly schedule (2, 3, 4 or 5 days per week)

● Tuition is based on the hourly rate of $9.00 per hour.  Tuition is due in advance on the first of each month.  
Tuition must be paid for those days when your child is absent or on vacation as our costs for maintaining the
Center remain the same.

● We ask that children arrive with an application of sunscreen already applied and their bathing suit on under
their clothing.  We will reapply sunscreen as needed.

Daily Schedule:

7:30-9:00 – Early arrivals – free play – individual and group lessons with classroom materials.
9:00-10:45 – Outdoor free play, outdoor water play, arts and crafts, drama, gardening and sports - Snack
10:45 – 11:15 – Circle time – We gather for stories, songs, show and tell and group discussion
11:15 – 11:45 – Indoor free play with classroom materials
11:45- 12:00 – Clean up
12:00-12:30 – Lunch (Please provide your child with a lunch each day)
12:30 – 12:45 – Story time
12:45 – 1:00 – Departures and prepare for rest time
1:00 – 2:30 – Rest time (rest time is optional for children entering kindergarten) – at rest time older students may
engage in quiet, indoor free play, use materials at our writing center or play board games.
2:30- 2:45 – Clean up time
2:45 – 5:30 –  Snack, outdoor free play, stories, sports, water play, nature walks and arts and crafts.
